Notice and Procedures for Making Claims of Copyright Infringement Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

If, after you have made a reasonable investigation, you believe that your work is the subject of a claim of copyright infringement against uCANcomplain.com, submit notice of your claim to the following Designated Agent:

Please note: to be effective, the notification of your claim of copyright infringement should be written and MUST include the following detail:

1) A verified statement that:

A) You are the owner of the exclusive right you claim has been infringed; or
B) You are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that has allegedly been infringed.

To be “verified”, the statement must be signed under penalty of perjury, and state that the information in the notification is accurate. Your signature may be electronic.

2) The full identification of the copyrighted work involved

We can only address proper Notices that fully identify the work in which you claim copyright. You must submit identification of the material that you claim to be infringing and you must include information reasonably sufficient to permit uCANcomplain.com to locate the material.

A statement may include multiple copyrighted works that you claim have been infringed; i.e. you can submit one notification with a list of the allegedly infringed works but each copyrighted work must be fully identified.

3) Contact information

You must provide information sufficient to permit uCANcomplain.com to contact you, including your address, telephone number, fax number and, if available, an electronic mail address. You can alternatively provide contact information for the owner of the exclusive right that you claim has been infringed if you are an authorized agent acting on behalf of the owner.

4) A Good Faith Statement

You must include a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

uCANcomplain.com or its agent will respond to any DMCA complaints in a timely manner. Should you be the copyright holder of a specific piece of content featured on this site without your permission, uCANcomplain.com will remove it in a timely manner once notified.
